Saluki cheerleaders to host summer camps
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Join the Southern Illinois University Carbondale Saluki cheerleaders for their individual cheer camp!
The Saluki cheerleaders will host two separate cheer camps, both focusing on personal development and creating strong spirit. The first camp opportunity is June 18-20 and it is open to cheerleaders in grades 5-12. This camp will focus on enhancing group cheer skills as well as teambuilding.
The second camp, for those in grades 3-12, will take place June 21-23. Emphasis will be on basic cheer skills including motions, jumps, stunts and conditioning.
Registration for each camp will begin at 11 a.m. on the first day of each session.
The registration fee is $125 per camper and includes a fun-filled Zumba party as well as all instruction. Registration and camp training will be in the Student Recreation Center.
