Media Advisory -- ‘Science of Agriculture’
Reporters, photographers and news crews are welcome to cover an event involving local high school students and the College of Agricultural Sciences at Southern Illinois University Carbondale on Friday, May 4.
About 50 students from Carbondale Community High School will visit the campus starting at 8:30 a.m. to experience “The Science of Agriculture.” Students will tour classrooms and laboratories at the Agriculture Building in the morning before heading out to the University’s farms in the afternoon. The event will last most of the day.
