Media Advisory -- Student Services Ground Breaking
Southern Illinois University Carbondale officials will break ground on the University’s Student Services Building, a state-of-the-art facility to serve students, parents, and alumni, at 10:30 a.m., Monday, April 16. Chancellor Rita Cheng will be among the officials participating in the ceremony. The site is northeast of the Student Center on the ground where the two-story parking garage was located. Reporters, photographers and camera crews are welcome to cover the ground breaking.
