Media Availability -- Simon Review presenters

Reporters, photographers and camera crews are welcome to attend an in-depth analysis of recent Simon Review Papers from Southern Illinois University Carbondale’s Paul Simon Public Policy Institute. The event is from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., Monday, Feb. 28, in the Institute lobby.

The event features three presenters -- Chris Baughman, who earned a Master’s in Public Administration from SIUC in December, and John S. Jackson and Charles W. Leonard, both visiting professors at the public policy institute.

Baughman will discuss proposed state revenue solutions, and Jackson will address the 2010 elections in Illinois. Leonard, who also directs the Institute’s polling initiatives, will discuss the 2010 statewide polling results and preview the 2011 spring Southern Illinois Poll. All three will also entertain questions from the audience.

Director David Yepsen will host the event. For more information, contact Matt Baughman, associate director, at 618/453-4009 or 618/201-0082.
