Old Main's popular holiday buffet set for Dec. 15
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Here’s your chance to replace those visions of sugarplums dancing in your head with a full holiday feast at Southern Illinois University Carbondale’s Student Center on Dec. 15.
The annual feast at Old Main Restaurant is from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The public and University community are welcome.
The buffet menu features roast beef, sweet and sour glazed ham, caramelized onion whipped potatoes with pan gravy, green beans, roasted peppers, fresh vegetable medley and complimentary phyllo cups. The price is $7.29 and the meal also includes the all-you-can-eat soup and salad bar. Drinks and desserts are available for an extra charge.
Old Main Restaurant accepts all major credit cards, cash, SIUC meal cards and Debit Dawg. Alumni Association members receive a 10 percent discount if presenting their membership cards.
For holiday buffet reservations or more information, call 618/453-5277. Although reservations assure a spot for the popular meal, walk-in patrons are welcome as space allows.
