University Mall to host Klassics for Kids
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Southern Illinois University Carbondale’s Klassics for Kids hits the shopping mall for a holiday performance on Tuesday, Dec. 7.
The performance begins at 10 a.m. at University Mall and will last approximately 45 minutes. The SIUC School of Music Faculty Brass Quintet performs holiday music with an interactive program designed especially for children from pre-school age to third grade. This is a free event.
Klassics for Kids is an admission-free program for pre-school and school-age children sponsored by the Southern Illinois Symphony Orchestra and the SIUC School of Music, designed to expose youngsters to live classical music and encourage listening skills.
