Fall commencement ceremonies set for Dec. 18
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Ceremonies for Southern Illinois University Carbondale’s fall 2010 commencement are set.
The ceremonies, the first in the newly renovated SIU Arena, will take place at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 18. The seating configuration for commencement ceremonies in the arena will be about 7,000, said Matt Shackleton, assistant director of SIUC’s Event Services.
The schedule is as follows:
9:30 a.m. -- College of Agricultural Sciences, College of Applied Sciences and Arts, College of Business, College of Education and Human Services, College of Engineering.
1:30 p.m. -- Graduate School, School of Law, College of Liberal Arts, College of Mass Communication and Media Arts, College of Science.
