Recreation Center to host Saluki Finals Finish
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- In Saluki land, aka Southern Illinois University Carbondale, everything happens with style and that includes wrapping up the semester and getting ready for final exams.
Saluki Finals Finish 2010 is set for May 10 at the Student Recreation Center. From 6 to 11 p.m., students can enjoy using the recreational facilities, relaxing, studying and eating free food.
University faculty and staff volunteers will be serving up pizza, veggies, fruit, beverages and assorted goodies. They’ll also offer moral support and smiles to the hundreds, even thousands, of students who will drop by to work off stress, study for exams or spend time relaxing with friends.
Providing support for the annual Saluki Finals Finish are the colleges of Agricultural Sciences, Science, Applied Sciences and Arts, Business, Mass Communication and Media Arts, Education and Human Services, Engineering and Liberal Arts as well as Library Affairs, the Graduate School, the School of Law and the School of Medicine.
Spring commencement ceremonies at SIUC are set for May 14-15.
