CARBONDALE, Ill. -- The Southern Illinois Flute Choir of Southern Illinois University Carbondale presents two concerts this weekend, at venues in Marion and Carbondale.

On Friday, April 23, the flute choir brings its music to Aldersgate Methodist Church on Fair Street in Marion. On Sunday, April 25, the concert is at the First United Methodist Church on West Main Street in Carbondale. Both concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. and both are free performances.

The Southern Illinois Flute Choir is one of the University’s newest musical ensembles, and includes community members as well as SIUC students.
