Media Advisory -- News Conference
The College Democrats, a registered student organization at Southern Illinois University Carbondale, will hold a news conference on Tuesday, Jan. 12, to announce the details of “The Southern Debate.” Justin Stofferahn, president of the College Democrats, and Sam Nylen, the group’s vice president, will discuss plans for the event during the news conference, set to begin at 11:30 a.m. in the Student Center’s Illinois Room. Reporters, photographers and camera crews are welcome to attend.
“The Southern Debate,” set for Jan. 19 in the Student Center, will feature four of the candidates in the Democratic primary election for U.S. Senate.
