Fall Etiquette Dinner for students planned
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Students at Southern Illinois University Carbondale can learn all the ins and outs of making a great impression when dining out at the annual fall Etiquette Dinner set for 5-7:30 p.m. on Oct. 21 at Lentz Hall Dining Room #5.
Chef Bill Connors and the Lentz Hall dining staff will be serving up a delicious five-course meal and all SIUC students are welcome. University Housing and Career Services are partnering to offer participants information about proper table manners, tips on marketing themselves in the business world, suggestions for proper business attire and much more. Whether you’ll be dining out with friends, family or business associates, in the future, you’ll be prepared to do it right.
Tickets are $15 each and you can purchase them at the Residence Hall Dining Office on the lower level of Grinnell Hall. The deadline for purchasing tickets is Oct. 15. Office attire is required for those participating in the Etiquette Dinner.
