Media Advisory -- Special Lecture
Reporters, photographers and camera crews are welcome to cover an event next week at Southern Illinois University Carbondale featuring a leading faculty member.
Carl L. Faingold, professor and chair of the Department of Pharmacology at the SIU School of Medicine, will give the Outstanding Scholar Lecture at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, in the John C. Guyon Auditorium at Morris Library. His lecture is entitled “A Neuronal Network Approach to Central Nervous System Disorders and Drug Actions on the Brain.” A reception will follow. The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Graduate Dean is the event sponsor.
