Media Advisory -- Camp CEO Crash Course
Reporters, photographers and news crews are welcome to cover the entrepreneurship experience of Camp CEO Crash Course participants at Southern Illinois University Carbondale this week. The camp begins at 8 a.m. on Friday, July 10, at the Dunn-Richmond Economic Development Center, located at 150 E. Pleasant Hill Road in Carbondale. Activities run through 6 p.m.
Throughout the day, youths ages 13-18 from all over Southern Illinois will participate in a wide variety of entrepreneurial activities, including business development training, financial advisement, networking with local entrepreneurs, collecting and brainstorming marketing ideas and visiting area businesses.
Media are welcome at many of the sessions. Opportune media visit prospects, by time and locations are:
• 8-11 a.m. -- Dunn-Richmond Economic Development Center, 150 E. Pleasant Hill Road in Carbondale.
• 11 a.m.-noon -- Old National Bank, 509 S. University Ave., #1, Carbondale.
• 1-2 p.m. -- Black Diamond Harley-Davidson, 2400 Williamson County Parkway, Marion. • 2-3:30 p.m. -- Sao Asian Bistro, 2800 17th St., Marion.
