CARBONDALE, Ill. -- The Rehabilitation Institute at Southern Illinois University Carbondale honored 22 student-scholars during an awards ceremony held in conjunction with its annual Renzaglia Lecture Tuesday, April 14, at the University’s Student Center.

Jeanne M. Johnson, now associate professor in the Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences at Washington State University, delivered this year’s lecture. Johnson, who earned her doctorate from SIUC in 1986, practiced privately in Carbondale before moving to the Pacific Northwest.
