Gebke joins College of Business staff
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Jill M. Gebke is the new director of enrollment management for the College of Business at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. In this new position, she will direct the college’s recruitment efforts and be a key participant in the retention programs currently under way. Gebke’s first day on the job was Monday, Dec. 8.
“We are very excited to have Ms. Gebke on board to manage recruitment and retention efforts,” Dean J. Dennis Cradit said. “These are critical issues for the University and for the college. Ms. Gebke’s experience and expertise will certainly help us as we push for increases in enrollment and an improvement in the overall student experience.”
Gebke had previously served as the director of recruitment and student development at Kaskaskia College in Centralia since June 2002. Her career focus on student service was extensive at Kaskaskia. She served in multiple roles, working as co-coordinator of student activities and in recruitment/placement efforts.
Gebke earned her associate degree from Kaskaskia College in 2001 and her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology at SIU Edwardsville in 2003. She holds a master’s of science in college student affairs earned in 2005 at Eastern Illinois University.
