Association honors SIUC’s Edgren for leadership
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Susan Edgren, interim director of the Division of Continuing Education at Southern Illinois University Carbondale, received notification from the American Association for Collegiate Independent Study (AACIS) organization that she had been selected for the Dale Huffington Leadership Award.
This award is given annually to an individual who not only excels at administrative activities, but who can inspire his or her staff to feel a part of the independent study mission. The American Association for Collegiate Independent Study is a professional association whose goal is to provide professional development and opportunities for interaction among those in the field of distance education.
