You can learn how to get fit and live healthier at the seventh annual Health and Nutrition Fair on Thursday, March 27, from 4 to 6 p.m. in the lower level of Grinnell Hall at Southern Illinois University Carbondale.

This year's fair will have a Las Vegas casino theme, "Cash in Your Chips: Take a Gamble on Good Nutrition," and will host more than 20 exhibits from SIUC and the Carbondale community providing practical health and nutrition information and free gifts.

Some of the exhibitors include Residence Hall Dining, Barrett Spinal Health and Wellness Center, US Foodservice, Murphysboro Chiropractic Clinic and the Wellness Center Outreach Program. Additionally, CIL-FM 101.5 will broadcast live from the fair.

University Housing sponsors the fair as part of National Nutrition Month, and will give the first 400 fairgoers a free "Take a Gamble on Good Nutrition" T-shirt. An mp3 player as well as many other prizes will be given away during the afternoon.
