Student Center open for Saturday's playoff game
CARBONDALE, Ill. — When the Salukis take on the Panthers on Saturday, Nov. 24, football fans will be able to visit the Southern Illinois University Carbondale Student Center and take advantage of some of its amenities.
Although it's Thanksgiving break, the center and select services there will be open Saturday due to the home game at 1:30 p.m. in McAndrew Stadium. It's the first round of the NCAA Football Championships playoffs and No. 4 seed SIUC takes on Eastern Illinois University.
The Student Center will be open Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Hours for Starbucks, McDonald's and the Information Station are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. that day. The central ticket office/check cashing will be open 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., while the University Bookstore hours are 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
