Pre-game gathering planned in Hampton, Va.
CARBONDALE, Ill. — Virginia-based and traveling Southern Illinois University Carbondale football fans can socialize and cheer on the Salukis when they take on the Pirates at Hampton University in Hampton, Va., on Nov. 17.
The SIU Alumni Association invites alumni, students and friends of the University to a pre-game gathering beginning at 10:30 a.m. (EST) in the Cyber Lounge at the Hampton University Student Center. Refreshments menu includes hot dogs, hamburgers, fried chicken, potato salad, coleslaw, baked beans, potato chips, cookies, assorted soda, and water. Game time is 1 p.m. at Armstrong Stadium.
Cost to attend the pre-game gathering and the game is $35 per person, including general admission stadium seating. Tickets for the pre-game only are $17 per person. Game tickets are available at the pre-game gathering until 12:15 p.m. After that, they will be at the public will-call window.

SIU Alumni Association membership is open to alumni, students and friends of the University. Annual individual membership is $40.
