'Daddy-Daughter Dinner Dance' set for Sept. 29

CARBONDALE, Ill. – A special night awaits fathers and their daughters at the Daddy-Daughter Dinner Dance set for Sept. 29 in the Student Center Ballrooms at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Seating is limited and the pre-registration deadline is Sept. 17.

The elegant affair welcomes fathers and their daughters ages 2-12 for dinner, dancing and games. Dress clothing, perhaps even princess attire, is encouraged for the evening. There will be a free, four-inch by six-inch keepsake photograph to commemorate the daddy and daughter date.

Tickets are $25 per couple with a $12.50 charge for each additional adult. It's $8 for each additional child age 12 and under. The SIUC Student Center and the Carbondale Park District are sponsoring the Daddy Daughter Dinner Dance in the alcohol-free, smoke-free center.

There won't be any door sales of tickets. To reserve spots, pre-register by calling the Carbondale Park District at 618/549-4222.
