Media Advisory – Service Center Opening
Reporters, photographers and camera crews are welcome to attend a news conference announcing the opening of the first Southern Illinois University System Service Center.
The ceremony is set for 9 a.m. Friday, Aug. 17, at Southeastern Illinois College's Harry W. Abell Administration Building on the Harrisburg campus. News media members should plan to park in the circle drive at the south entrance near the Visual Performing Arts Center.
SIU President Glenn Poshard, along with SIC President Ray Cummiskey, will make remarks and take questions.
