Student Center to host Easter buffet
Southern Illinois University Carbondale's Student Center will host an Easter buffet from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 8, in the Student Center Ballrooms.The menu will include glazed carved ham, raspberry-balsamic chicken, mashed sweet potatoes with pecan butter, cheesy scalloped potatoes, green beans with caramelized onions, buttered corn, creamy vegetable medley, mandarin orange and red onion salad, fruit floret salad, balsamic pasta salad, maple oat bread, honey rolls, cherry pineapple upside down cake, cinnamon pecan streusel-topped pumpkin pie, chocolate chiffon pie, and yogurt fruit and almond parfait.
For advanced tickets, please contact the central ticket office at 618/453-3478, or visit the office, located on the second floor of the SIUC Student Center. The office hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Advance ticket prices are $6 for children 10 and younger, $11 for students and senior citizens, and $12 for the general public. Tickets purchased at the door on the day of the event will be an additional dollar. Children 5 and younger are free.
