Media Advisory — Kellogg Hall Computer Lab

Reporters and photographers are welcome to attend the unveiling of a new computer laboratory designed for residents of Southern Illinois University Carbondale's Kellogg Hall residence hall on Thursday, March 29.

The ceremony is set for 4:30 p.m. in the residence hall basement. In August, Kellogg Hall, located in Thompson Point, became the dedicated residence hall for students enrolled in the College of Mass Communication and Media Arts.

Students in the residence hall will have 24-hour access to six new IMacs, complete with iDVD, iWeb, iTunes, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Final Cut Pro, iMovie, iCal and Garageband, as well as a scanner and video transfer deck.

For more information, contact Clare Mitchell, assistant dean of student affairs with the college, at 618/453-3408.
