Spring schedule offers plenty of variety

CARBONDALE, Ill. — Don't miss a single note of the Southern Illinois University Carbondale School of Music's spring schedule. The calendar is full of a variety of concerts for music enthusiasts of all ages.

"Spring is always a very busy time for our musical performances and 2007 will be no different," said Robert L. Weiss, director of the School of Music. "I'm pleased to see a really wide range of faculty and guest artist performances in addition to our usual student ensembles. From Baroque to blues, there is something for every music lover on this schedule,"

JANUARY

19

  • 6 p.m. Dunn-Richmond Economic Development Center. Southern Illinois Symphony Orchestra annual benefit concert, dinner and auction. $50 per person.

Shryock Auditorium ticket office will print and distribute tickets for School of Music "student" productions, independent of the Ticketmaster system. Tickets will also be available on the night of the show at the door.
