Alumni association to host pre-game in Normal
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- The SIU Alumni Association will host a pre-game gathering prior to the SIU vs. Illinois State University basketball game on Friday, Dec. 29 at Horton Field House located west of Hancock Stadium in Normal.
Alumni, students and friends are invited to the gathering, which begins at 3:45 p.m. and includes a menu of hamburgers, hotdogs, brats, chicken breasts, baked beans, potato salad, cookies and beverages.
After the reception join the SIU Alumni Association in cheering on the Salukis as they face off against the Redbirds at 6:05 p.m. Seats available for the game are located in the upper bowl of Redbird Arena.
Cost to attend the game and the reception is $22 for members, $26 for non-members. Cost to attend only the reception is $12 for members and $16 for non-members. The RSVP deadline is Friday, Dec. 22.
