DeLong wins law school scholarship

CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Natalie Danielle DeLong of Morton is the recipient of the School of Law Dean's Scholarship at Southern Illinois University Carbondale.

DeLong graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in English during College of Liberal Arts' commencement ceremonies at SIUC on Friday, May 12.

The scholarship award is for three years. The scholarship for 2006-2007 academic year is guaranteed; the scholarship for the subsequent two academic years is contingent upon DeLong maintaining at least a 2.50 GPA while in law school and carrying 12 or more credit hours per semester.

She is the daughter of Dan and Melanie DeLong (161 Tara Trace).
