SIUC to host girls basketball camp this summer
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Basketball 101 at Southern Illinois University Carbondale is designed to instruct girls in grades one-five on the fundamentals of basketball. The campers will be divided by age and skill level, as well as receive individual instruction. The sport will be introduced in a fun atmosphere to create an appreciation for the game that can last a lifetime.
The camp is set for June 7-9 at the SIU Arena. The fee is $75 per participant. A required medical release form must also be submitted to the SIUC Division of Continuing Education prior to camp in order for the child to attend.
The registration deadline is May 23. Pre-registration is required.
