by Tara Livesay

CARBONDALE, Ill. -- The Division of Continuing Education at Southern Illinois University Carbondale will present "Listening to your business," a hands-on, facilitated, four-hour workshop designed to provide entrepreneurs and business managers with the critical evaluation tools and action steps they need to maximize the growth and profitability of their businesses.

The experience does not end at the conclusion of the workshop. The action plan ramps up immediately as participants receive a confidential, face-to-face 30-minute session with a professional business coach as part of the workshop fee. Additionally, participants will schedule two subsequent 50-minute teleconference coaching sessions to ensure that the action plan continues to move forward.

This workshop is set for Tuesday, Feb. 21, at the Kokopelli Golf Course in Marion. The morning workshop will run 8 a.m. to noon and the evening workshop will run from 5 to 9 p.m. The program is limited to 10 participants per workshop, and enrollment is on a first-come basis. The cost for attending the workshop and three coaching session is $195.
