CPA review course begins Jan. 18

CARBONDALE, Ill. -- The CPA Comprehensive Review course will start in mid January.

The class will meet Mondays and Wednesdays from 6 to 9 p.m. beginning Jan. 18 and running through May 3 in room 18 at Rehn Hall, Southern Illinois University Carbondale. The class also will meet at 9 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 4.

This course will prepare accounting students and professionals to successfully prepare for the CPA exam. Faculty from the SIUC College of Business and Administration will teach the course. Instructors will present recent changes and current information that will be included in the new format for the CPA exam.

The fee for this course is $1,750, with a $600 nonrefundable deposit due by Jan. 9. Participants can earn three hours of credit through the SIUC School of Accountancy when bursar tuition is paid in addition to the cost of the course.
