Enroll now in Head Start programs

Head Start pre-school programs in Jackson and Williamson counties are taking applications for the fall term now. Eligible children must be at least 3 years old by Sept. 1 but too young for kindergarten. Programs begin Aug. 24.

Centers are located in Carbondale, Carterville, Johnston City, Marion and Murphysboro and offer morning, afternoon and all-day programs.
