Gordon, Hanson reign over Homecoming

CARBONDALE, Ill. - - Homecoming weekend at Southern Illinois University Carbondale is an event steeped in tradition, including the coronation of the 2004 Homecoming king and queen during halftime festivities of the football game on Saturday, Oct. 2.

This year, Sean M. Gordon and Sarah Hanson were crowned Homecoming royalty. Gordon, from East St. Louis, is a junior majoring in aviation technology. Hanson, from Marion, is a junior majoring in history education.
