Museum hosting faculty art exhibition
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Brighten up your winter with a visit to a new art exhibition on view at the University Museum at Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
The annual Combined Faculty Art Exhibition features some of the finest works of 30 creative professionals in the University's art and design school and its departments of cinema-photography, theater, architecture and interior design.
Meet the artists at a public reception from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 16. On-campus parking will be free.
The museum is in the north wing of Faner Hall. Admission is free.
Museum hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 1-4 p.m. Saturday through Monday. For more information, call the museum at 618/453-5388.
